Ratification of Job title change from Town Clerk to "Executive Officer!

Dear Billingham Town Council, this is a Freedom of Information Act 2000 request.

In September 2009, your Town Clerk's job title was changed to "Executive Officer".

(1) Please state which person, people or committee in the Town Council initially suggested the change of job title.

(2) Please provide a hyperlink from your website http://www.billinghamtowncouncil.co.uk to the minutes of the Town Council meeting which resolved (made a decision) to ratify the changed "Executive Officer" job title.

(3) If the minutes of the meeting above are not available to download from your website, please provide a copy of them in an electronic form which is capable of re-use, in accordance with item 102 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012.

Following the Billingham Town Council meeting held on Tuesday 31st July 2018 it was agreed that our response was as outlined below:

1. The change of job title was suggested at the Finance Meeting held on July 9th 2009 and was ratified at the Town Council meeting on 21st July 2009..
2. We are unable to provide a hyperlink to the minutes as we only started publishing the minutes electronically in 2012.
3. Attached is a scanned copy of the minutes of the Finance Committee held on 9th July 2009 and a scanned copy of the Town Council meeting held on 21st July 2009.
