Railway accidents involving Nuclear Maerial / Radioactive Waste on Private Land
Dear Rail Accident Investigation Branch,
1. Has a Memorandum of Understanding been agreed between The Rail Accident Investigation Branch and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority or any of their subsidiary companies, (Direct Rail Services Limited / Radioactive Waste Management Limited / International Nuclear Services Limited) by which serious accidents on otherwise excepted railways, such as those at freight terminals, sea docks and nuclear sites may be investigated by The Rail Accident Investigation Branch?
2. Has a Memorandum of Understanding been agreed between The Rail Accident Investigation Branch and The Office for Nuclear Regulation which permits joint investigations in such circumstances?
3. If so; please disclose said agreement/s.
