RAF Radioactive Equipment unaccounted for

Ministry of Defence did not have the information requested.

Dear Ministry of Defence,

Under the Freedom of Information Act how many pieces of equipment has been unaccounted for by the Royal air Force that was *radioactive* and could these be listed

Please do not include radioactive instruments such as aircraft dials and gauges

equipment containing radioactive material. Please could you be more specific about the exact
items you are referring to. Naming specific geographical locations would also help, for example
an individual RAF station. Additional y, if you could limit your request to a specific timeframe
that may also help.

If you could clarify your request further we can then investigate to see if the information
requested is held.

I am requesting information under the FoIA specifically any radioactive equipment [Inc X-Ray equipment] unaccounted for that may have gone missing or irretrievable from 1st February 1960 to 1st March 1961 in the *vicinity* of the former RAF station at Gan in the Maldives
