I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information Request (FOI 10223
) dated 18th January 2021.

 

Please find the Council’s response below;

 

Regarding the contracts listed below, please could you confirm the
contract end dates for each of these and whether you intend to
recommission them within the next financial year?

 

1. Early Help Family Support

This contract has just been extended for 12 months from 1st April 2021,
meaning that the end date will be 31/03/22. We are currently working on
commissioning plans so can't confirm if they will be re tendered as is at
the end of 31st March 2022.

 

2. Early Help Hub Volunteer Co-ordination

This contract has just been extended for 12 months from 1st April 2021,
meaning that the end date will be 31/03/22. We are currently working on
commissioning plans so can't confirm if they will be re tendered as is at
the end of 31st March 2022.

 

3. Mentoring Services for Young People

This contract has just been extended for 12 months from 1st April 2021,
meaning that the end date will be 31/03/22. We are currently working on
commissioning plans so can't confirm if they will be re tendered as is at
the end of 31st March 2022.

 

4. Trafford Carers Service

The current Carers Centre contract is to be extended until 31st March
2022.

The procurement process will start in 2021, for a new contract which is
expected to commence on 1st April 2022.

 

5. Care Leavers Supported Accommodation

Two contracts for supported accommodation, each supporting 5 young people:

1.     Ends 15th December 2024

2.     Ends 31st March 2021 with an option to extend on an annual basis
for 3 years.  We will be extending for 1 year to 31st March 2022.
