1. A list of all BT operated public payphones within the Isle of Wight.

2. The outcome of any previous consultations on the removal of BT payphones.

3. Any current consultations on the removal of BT payphones.

Thank you for your information request dated 30^th July 2020, and received
by the Isle of Wight Council on the same day, which is currently being
considered.

 

As required by the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the Isle of Wight
Council will respond to you as soon as possible and no later than 20
working days after the receipt of your request.

 

Under the Act, there is a limit for responding to requests where they
exceed the Appropriate Fee Limit as set out in the Freedom of Information
and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulation 2004. The fee
limit is set down by the Lord Chancellor and is £450 which equates to a
maximum of 18 hours of search and retrieval time.

 

Should your request fall into this category, we will notify you as soon as
possible, to discuss any options available to you.

 

If you have any complaints in respect of your information request, please
write to the Corporate Information Unit at County Hall, High Street,
Newport, IW, PO30 1UD; email – [1][Isle of Wight Council request email]; or complete the

resolved to your complete satisfaction, you have the ultimate right, once

Under the Freedom Of Information Act I would like to request the following

1. A list of all BT operated public payphones within the Isle of Wight.

 

Please see attached Excel document of BT payphones on the Isle of Wight
(this list does not include those previously consulted on for removal)
however this data was requested last year and may be out of date. Please
note that BT will hold all up to date data on in situ payphones on the
Isle of Wight, any current consultations and the outcome of any previous
consultations and we would advise contacting them directly for up to date
information/data.

 

2. The outcome of any previous consultations on the removal of BT
payphones.

 

Please see attached responses for the two consultations received last
year.

 

3. Any current consultations on the removal of BT payphones.

 

The Isle of Wight Council has received a further consultation request and
will be publishing this on our website in due course, please see attached
email correspondence.
