PSNI support of Jeffery Anderson, Sex Offender and son of Colin Anderson ASG + Partners
Dear Police Service of Northern Ireland,
After the latest news that ASG & Partners (owned by Colin Anderson) have hired, and continue to hire a violent sexual offender who is also his son, Jeffrey Anderson, to work on advertising campaigns,
I would like to request the following information:
1) In the last 5 financial years how much has your organisation paid to ASG & Partners for services
2) In light of the news articles below, will your organisation be reviewing your relationship with ASG & Partners?
3) Is your organisation currently working with ASG on current/future advertising campaigns?
4) Was your organisation aware of the fact that they hire violent convicted sexual offenders?

I write in connection with your request for information dated 15th July
2020 which was received by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI)
on 15th July 2020. I note you seek access to the following information:

Given the unprecedented challenges PSNI and other first line emergency
responders face during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic we may not be
able to respond to your request within the statutory timescales set out
under FOI and data protection legislation and are unlikely to be able to
respond to email queries about requests in a timely fashion. Please accept
our apologies for this.
We are working to support partner agencies to ensure critical public
health information is available during this time. Further up to date
information can be found on the public health Agency NI website at:
www.publichealth.hscni.net.
We are asking all requesters to consider re-submitting their requests at a
later date when PSNI has returned to business as usual. This will assist
PSNI to concentrate as much resource in responding to this emergency.

We have been in contact with the Information Commissioner’s Office to
highlight the critical changes that will be required to our business in
the weeks and months ahead. They have let us know that they have made
guidance for the public available on their website relating to requests
being processed during the Corona virus pandemic . We will continue to
work closely with the Information Commissioner throughout this crisis
keeping them informed.
