b) a rigorous analysis and assessment of the potential impact of the proposals.
c) how well the strategy meets local needs, now and in the future, using documented evidence held locally, as well as members and officers’ local knowledge.
d) an assessment of the equality impact on all ‘protected groups’ as specified in the Equality Act 2010.

Freedom of Information Request – general description of request

Thank you for your request for information dated 12 SEP 2019, in which you asked for the following information:

a) details of plans to consult with local communities alongside an assessment of their needs (including any projections of need).
b) a rigorous analysis and assessment of the potential impact of the proposals.
c) how well the strategy meets local needs, now and in the future, using documented evidence held locally, as well as members and officers’ local knowledge.
d) an assessment of the equality impact on all ‘protected groups’ as specified in the Equality Act 2010.
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 ('the Act') The Council is obliged to:

• Let you know whether we hold the information you have requested
• Provide you with the requested information, if held, (subject to any exemptions under the Act which may apply).

I am writing to advise you that, following a search of our records, I have established that the information you requested is not held by the council.

The current plans regarding the Maltings Development in Salisbury are being led by a developer. At the appropriate time the relevant council services, including the Library Service, will ensure that any changes to the provision of library services from the current building will be based on evidence that the proposals would continue to meet local needs. This will include a full Equalities Impact Assessment to ensure any changes do not disadvantage customers with protected characteristics.
