Prosecutions of landlords for failing to comply with Repairing Standard Enforcement Order.

James Plant made this Freedom of Information request to Police Scotland This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

Police Scotland did not have the information requested.

Dear Police Scotland,

Please advise how many prosecutions were taken by Police Scotland in each of the last three years against landlords who failed to comply with a Repairing Standard Enforcement Order put on a property by The Private Rented Housing Panel (now Housing and Property Chamber, First Tier Tribunal for Scotland). In the event a landlord fails to comply with this order, it is a criminal offence.

It would be helpful if the number of prosecutions in each area could be shown if this is possible.

Yours faithfully,

James Plant
