The request was partially successful.

2. The total number and percentage of LAC pupils in the school
3. The total number and percentage of pupils on Free School Meals
4. The total number and percentage of pupils on Education Health Care Plans.

Dear Mr Warner

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request dated the 9th May 2018.
Please refer to the attached spreadsheet.

I would like to advise that under the Freedom of Information Act 2000,
Trafford Council has a duty to supply any information on request, unless
there is an exemption. In this instance, the following absolute exemption
applies to some of the information you have requested, and thus because
the individual totals to these questions would be less than 5 it is
therefore potentially possible to identify the relevant child/ young
person. Where this is the case the figure will be shown as  <5

Section 40 – we cannot disclose all of the information to you because it
may be possible to identify individuals and this would be a breach of the
Data Protection Act.

Please note these figures are as of January 2018 school census.

I would like to clarify that SEND includes all children with a SEND flag
and so includes EHCP & Statemented pupils. EHCP is those recorded with an
EHCP and those still recorded with a Statement.

With regard to the Looked after Children numbers, firstly  there are
relatively large numbers of children placed by other authorities within
Trafford and we do not know which schools they attend.  In consideration
of this, the Council is unable to provide any data with regard to LAC in
Trafford schools as the information will not be accurate.

I hope this is helpful however if you are dissatisfied with the handling
of your request, you have the right to ask for an internal review.
Internal review requests should be submitted within two months of the date
of receipt of the response to your original letter and should be addressed
to: Information Governance Manager, Trafford Council, Town Hall, Talbot
Road Stretford M33 0TH or via email to
[1][Trafford Council request email]

Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future
communications.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have
the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a
decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information
Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9
