I wonder if you can provide me with further details regarding the address of the property purchased at 17 Camp Road from City Refrigeration, please.

A search of the Assessor's website fails to return a result and the Assessor for Glasgow City Council has stated that there is something "amiss" with the address as it is not listed on the Valuation roll.

Can you confirm the full address please, including postcode and whether the property was listed as a "Unit" or with some other form of designation?

I note that the minute of board meeting 13th February 2009 records a request by Keith Pender to purchase Unit 80, 17 Camp Road for a price of £805,000 - can you confirm if this is the same property?

If the property is the one listed in the previous list of property purchases you provided me with, can you explain why the cost of purchase differs by £125,000 please?

The property in question is located in South Lanarkshire which is why it will not be found on any Valuation Roll at Glasgow City Council.

The property was known as Unit 80, 17 Camp Road, Shawfield Industrial Estate.

It is the same property as refered to in the minute of the Clyde Gateway Development Company Board of 13 February 2009.

The net cost of acquiring the property was £680,000. Additional to this was VAT amounting to £102,000 and Stamp Duty Land tax (SDLT) of £31,280. The Board minute reflected the gross cost of acquisition.

Can I return to my original request and ask that the list provided supply the gross cost of acquisition of each property? My intention is to value the amount of public money spent on property acquisition and the gross cost is the target rather than net valuations.

This is made up of the purchase price plus VAT, SDLT, legal/surveying fees, business disturbance costs, business extinguishment settlements and registration fees (where applicable, appropriate, or required).
