 Dear Ms Kuhlmann-Muller

We write in response to your Freedom of Information enquiry in which you
asked:

1. provide me with a list of all heritage sites in Wirral which are  being
illuminated and for which period of time daily / yearly

2.  Which of these sites are located in a local wildlife site or SSS I?

3. Which WBC  heritage site has a webcam promoting the site? Is any of
those webcams located in a local wildlife site or SSSI?

4. Which of these webcams have an added CCTV facility?

5. If CCTV is included in the webcam facility : please provide me with a
list of each group / organisation which administers and stores those
images.

Please be advised that Wirral Council does not hold any recorded
information in response to your request.

In relation to Council-owned heritage buildings, such as Birkenhead Town
Hall, they are on occasion lit in order to support various charities.
Both town halls (Birkenhead and Wallasey) do have display lighting fitted
but this is not always in use.  We also have temporary lighting which can
be used to provide some external colour lighting , i.e. to windows, again
to support charities and to support particular events. This is moved from
building to building as required. As a council we are providing new
illumination to war memorials where possible, most recently at Hamilton
Square and we also provided illumination to the PC Philips memorial in
Hamilton Square.  However this is not at any set time nor for any set
periods.

We have no webcam/CCTV specifically linked to council heritage sites.

Yours sincerely

Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Promotion of heritage sites'.
These are the questions I asked :

1. provide me with a list of all heritage sites in Wirral which are being
illuminated and for which period of time daily / yearly
You haven't provided me with a list of all illuminated heritage sites but only mentioned the town halls and the Hamilton square war memorial and PC Phillips memorial.
You haven't E.g, included the Grange Hill war memorial which is being lit around remembrance Sunday.
You also haven't given me a precise period of illumination.
Please provide me with a correct list of ALL Wirral sites and a table which includes the correct illumination time in weeks and hours per day.

2. Which of these sites are located in a local wildlife site or SSS I?
You haven't answered that question.
Grange Hill war memorial E.g, is a LWS / SBI.
Could you please confirm all illuminated sites within a site of biological interest.

3. Which WBC heritage site has a webcam promoting the site? Is any of
those webcams located in a local wildlife site or SSSI?
Why isn't Birkenhead priory listed as Wirral heritage site with a webcam?

4. Which of these webcams have an added CCTV facility?

5. If CCTV is included in the webcam facility : please provide me with a
list of each group / organisation which administers and stores those
images.

Thank you
