I would be grateful if you could please provide me with the following information on the University procurement process.
1. How the University procures Construction Consultancy Services? In particular M&E consultancy services.
2. If by your own framework, please advise:
a. The titles and content of the relevant frameworks
b. The start and end dates of the frameworks
c. Any possible extension periods to the frameworks
d. The companies appointed under the current frameworks (in relation to m&e Consultancy Services)
3. If there is no framework in place how does the University typically procure m&e consultancies under and over OJEU value thresholds and if not a Trust procured framework which frameworks do you typically use?

I write in response to your recent Freedom of Information request relating
to procurement processes at the University. A copy of your full request
is attached below. The information you requested is as follows:
1. How the University procures Construction Consultancy Services? In
particular M&E consultancy services
Response: the University procures construction consultancy services for a
range of works including mechanical and electrical engineering, via
traditional tender. This is in accordance with our published regulations
which can be found here:

We also procure by utilising the SCAPE Framework. Details can be found

2. If by your own framework, please advise:
a. The titles and content of the relevant frameworks b. The start and end
dates of the frameworks c. Any possible extension periods to the
frameworks d. The companies appointed under the current frameworks (in
relation to m&e Consultancy Services)
Response: we do not operate our own frameworks.
3. If there is no framework in place how does the University typically
procure m&e consultancies under and over OJEU value thresholds and if not
a Trust procured framework which frameworks do you typically use?
Response: the University procures consultancy services, including those
related to mechanical and electrical engineering via traditional tender or
by utilising the SCAPE Framework. This is the case for procurement both
under and over OJEU value thresholds.
