1. Since. January 2010 to December 2019 how many applications were made to register as a private landlord? 3980 applications this is made up of renewals and new applications.

2. Same period how many applications were rejected? 4 applications.

3. Same period how many registrations were revoked? Nil

4. What type of Disclosure Scotland certificate do you obtain if at all on the applicant? No disclosure certificate.

Under FOISA, if you are dissatisfied with our response, you may ask the Council to review its handling of your request. If you wish to do this, you should make your request for review with 40 working days of receiving this email. Please make your request for review to Head of Legal Services, Council Offices, School Place, Kirkwall, Orkney, KW15 1NY or email to [Orkney Islands Council request email]. Your request must be in permanent form (letter, email, audio tape etc) and should state:

Why you are unhappy with the response you have received.
