Prime Minister of Wales

Llywodraeth Cymru Nid oedd gan y wybodaeth y gofynnwyd amdani.

Dear Welsh Government,

In a recent interview (https://penarthnews.wpcomstaging.com/202...) the First Minister declared "I'm the Prime Minister of Wales". This was not a post I even knew to exist.

Please provide any documentation you have that covers the creation of this new post, including details of any discussions in The Senedd, and anything else that covers the renaming of the First Minister's post to that of "Prime Minister of Wales".

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

Mr A Willmore

Llywodraeth Cymru

Dear Welsh Government,

Many thanks for your reply: "the First Minister’s official title in Welsh is “Prif Weinidog”, which can be translated as either “Prime Minister” or “First Minister”.

My misunderstanding of this technicality is of no surprise. That the journalists at the Penarth News also misunderstood and chose to write about it is, perhaps, more surprising.

Yours faithfully,

Mr A Willmore
