Pricing of behavioural health facilities

The request was successful.

Dear NHS England,

Please can you offer an indication of average pricing of beds in behavioural health facilities paid by NHS bodies to private sector providers? How has this changed over the last during the last 1-5 years?
How would average pricing vary across different types of behavioural health care (i.e. for different behavioural health conditions)? How has this changed over the last during the last 1-5 years?
How would average pricing vary across different levels of behavioural health care (i.e. for different magnitudes of patient care required/different levels of ward security)? How has this changed over the last during the last 1-5 years?
What has driven the changes noted in the above?
How are you expecting the above to change over the coming years? Why do you expect these changes?

Yours faithfully,

Alex Bevington
