Dear Mr Gill

Freedom of Information Act 2000 – Information Request - 000180/17

With regard to your Freedom of Information request received on 23 January
2017, please find our response attached and below.  This information is
everything that we hold centrally.

In accordance with Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act, the
Council is required to inform you that the premises licence holder address
and postcode has not been provided and has been withheld due to the
following exemption under the Act.

Section 40 – Personal Information

It is considered that this exemption under Section 40(2) (b) of the Act
applies, namely that some of the information is personal information and
disclosure would breach the rights of the individuals under the Data
Protection Act.  The Council cannot disclose personal information where to
do so would breach any of the data protection principles.  In this case it
has not proved practical to ask the data subjects for their consent to
disclose the information about them.  Where this exemption has been used
the personal information has been replaced with ‘S40’ accordingly.

Can you please provide the following details from the records which you
hold under The Licensing Act 2003:-

A full list of all premises who have the sale of alcohol by retail on
their premises. The list needs to contain the following:

- Premises Name
