Pre-registration Pharmacist Training Admission Statistics

The request was successful.

Dear Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust,

1.) I would like to know the proportion of entrants admitted on to your pre-registration pharmacist training programme that had studied in the first instance from Higher Education Institutions that fall into the following regions:

- Northern (including The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen; The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow; and The University of Sunderland)

- Pennine (including Liverpool John Moores University; the University of Bradford; the University of Manchester; the University of Central Lancashire; and the University of Huddersfield)

- Central (including the University of Nottingham; De Montfort University, Leicester; Keele University; Aston University; and the University of Wolverhampton)

- Western (including the University of Bath; Cardiff University; the University of Reading; and the University of Portsmouth)

- Eastern (including The School of Pharmacy, University of London; King's College London; Kingston University; the University of Brighton; the University of East Anglia; the University of Hertfordshire; and the Medway School of Pharmacy, University of Greenwich)

I am happy for this data to be communicated in terms of straight numbers of students admitted, or as a percentage of the places distributed to students from each category.

I also request the following information:

2.) Of the students offered places to the programme indicated above, how many had graduated with a 2:1 class degree or above on commencing or completing the pre-registration pharmacist training year (if they had not officially graduated from a Higher Education Institution at the point of commencing the programme).

3.) Of the students offered places to the programme indicated above, how many had been previously employed by, or volunteered within, the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for any length of time.

I would like the data pertaining to the last four years of entry.

Ideally I would like the data to be presented in PDF format so it is easily accessible to me.

Yours faithfully,

M Nunnerly
