Dear University of Oxford,

Please further note that there is precedent for such a request being accepted in 2014, and thus Section 22 or other exemptions cannot apply.

Yours sincerely,

James Wirth

Dear University of Oxford,

I see that you have (by accident, presumably) replied to my request on the wrong thread, as follows:

"Dear Mr Wirth,
I am writing in reference to your request for information regarding the
PPL (Philosophy, Psychology and Linguistics) applications for entry in
2018 under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

With regard to the different points listed as in your original email we
can only currently supply the information with regard to (1) the total
number of applicants; (11) what their GCSE results were; (12) what their
school type is and (13) their contextualised GCSE score.

As to the other information that you requested I am afraid that this
information will not be available until February as the list of
shortlisted candidates have not been released yet and therefore we cannot
supply any information related to this. The test scores have not been
processed yet and therefore we cannot provide you with answers to
questions 4, 5 and 6. The interviews you refer to in 3, 17 and 18 have
not yet taken place so we cannot provide the information requested. In
reference to 'successful applicants' we normally define these as being
offer holders and offers will not be made until January 2018, so we cannot
provide this information either. And finally with regard to the verified
A and AS results for the 2018 applicants, these will not be available
until summer 2018, as applicants do not sit their A Level examinations
until this time, and we do not receive this information from the relevant
bodies until after the examinations.

There will be much more information available in relation to your
questions from February 2018. Would you like to resubmit your request
when this information is available or do you wish us to proceed with your
request now but only in relation to items 1, 11, 12 and 13?

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Kind regards,
Anna Kirby-Hall

In response to this, I would like to resubmit my request for just the items as followed:

With regard to the different points listed as in your original email we
can only currently supply the information with regard to (1) the total
number of applicants; (11) what their GCSE results were; (12) what their
school type is and (13) their contextualised GCSE score. As well as their predictions (if possible). I will resubmit my request later on if I then need the further information I originally asked for.

Thanks very much,

James Wirth

Dear University of Oxford,

Thank you for your response. However, I note that, in a similar request (https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p...) TSA scores for PPE for this year were given. Is it at all possible if you could now add the TSA score to each applicant's row, and whether they were shortlisted or not, since it should have taken place by now?

Thank you,

James Wirth

Dear University of Oxford,

Furthermore, I note the following quote from the PPE request:

"TSA section 1 scores have all been uploaded to the central database and are therefore available and supplied."

Yours faithfully,

James Wirth
