Dear UK Power Networks (Operations) Limited,

We understand there would need to be a standard agreement or protocol between UKPN and British Telecommunications and /or Openreach regarding the underground powering of the DSLAM Internet Fibre boxes.

Please provide the latest agreements / instructions between UKPN and BT/Openreach concerning these power joints and any procedures or protocols with renewing / refreshing / re-cabling of the same.

Please provide copies of any instructions and/or agreements from 2015 to 2021 regarding powering of DSLAM cabinets.

Please provide details of Service Level Agreements between UKPN and BT for reconnecting DSLAM cabinets.

Please provide details of the necessary power couplings for DSLAM cabinets .

Please advise of all safety requirement agreements between UKPN and BT regarding the powered cabinets on the UK Streets.

It occurs to me that there may be some confusion in respect of my request although I have received no response so that is unclear.

To clarify the request, can you please advise if there have been concerns raised about the power joints to the street furniture items, DSLAM Fibre optic cable internet boxes? Are these safe for the public and environment?
