Dear Dumfries and Galloway Council,
Can you please tell me how often the mail box used for reporting potholes is checked by staff? What is the procedure once a pothole has been reported? How many times was a pothole reported outside number 96 Eastwood Avenue Stranraer and on what dates? How often has a pothole been reported in any part of Eastwood Avenue in the last 4 months? In what part of the street were these other potholes reported?

Yours faithfully,

Marc Nicholson

Please find below the Council's response to your request 414959 which was received on 03/06/2019.

Details of request: Can you please tell me how often the mail box used for reporting potholes is checked by staff? What is the procedure once a pothole has been reported? How many times was a pothole reported outside number 96 Eastwood Avenue Stranraer and on what dates? How often has a pothole been reported in any part of Eastwood Avenue in the last 4 months? In what part of the street were these other potholes reported?

Response:

Mailboxes for potholes are checked daily as far as operationally possible. Once the pothole has been logged on the system and allocated to an appropriate person, it is inspected at the first opportunity if it has already not been included in planned works.

How many times was a pothole reported outside number 96 Eastwood Avenue Stranraer and on what dates? - 2 reports outside no 96, 12 May and 21 April (see attached)

How often has a pothole been reported in any part of Eastwood Avenue in the last 4 months? - 2 as above

In what parts of the street were these other potholes reported? - No other parts of street reported other than outside number 96
