Alex Spain, Lincoln College, Oxford

Dear Mr James,
In response to your request, graduate admissions are administered
centrally by the University of Oxford  and the University will be better
placed to answer questions 1 and 2. With regard to question 3 we are are
unable at this point to give numbers of places available for specific
courses for the 2019-20 academic year, since these numbers will not be set
until January 2019.

Dear Alex Spain,

Just to clarify my previous email, I would like this information for Lincoln College only.

Yours sincerely,

Chris James

Dear Alex Spain,

Just to clarify my previous email, I would like this information for this college only (not the overall University applications). In addition, should you not hold the number of spaces for the upcoming cycle, please let me know the average for the past 5 years for each course.

Yours sincerely,

Chris James

Louise Durning, Lincoln College, Oxford

Dear Mr James,

I understand that you have requested from the University of Oxford the
information required in your 1st and 2nd questions, so that you may have
the information from all the colleges in your survey presented in a common
format.

I can supply an answer here to your 3rd question, concerning the total
number of spaces for each course for the 2019-2020 academic year at this
College. These targets have not yet been set, but the average number of
target places for each subject group over the last five admissions cycles
has been as follows:

Ancient History (DPhil or Masters) 2

Classical Archaeology (DPhil or Masters) 8

Classical Languages and Literature (DPhil or Masters) 2

You will see that we do not differentiate between Doctoral and Masters
courses in our target setting.
