Thank you for your email to the Electoral Commission dated 13/01/2020.

 

The Commission aims to respond to requests for information promptly and
has done so within the statutory timeframe of twenty working days.

 

Your request is in bold below followed by our response.

 

I would like you to release all the Postal Vote data from the 2019 General
Election.

 

Our response is as follows:

 

We do not hold the information you have requested.

 

The Electoral Commission collects postal voting data after each election
from (Acting) Returning Officers.

The Commission is currently collecting data on the number of postal votes
issued and returned in each constituency across the UK during the 2019
General Election. This data is expected to be published on the
Commission’s website by March 2020.

The Commission strives to be an open, transparent authority and I trust
that this information satisfies your request.

If you are not satisfied with this response, please note that the
Commission operates a review procedure, details of which can be found on
