Freedom Of Information Requests, Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council

Dear Madam/Sir,

Thank you for your request for information dated 10 January 2020.

I am afraid that your request is not one that we can reply to in its
present form.  For your request to be valid and dealt with according to
the Freedom of Information Act, you must give your real name (first name &
surname).  This is a legal requirement, details of which can be found at
the following webpage: [1]http://www.ico.org.uk/for_the_public/off...

Section 8(1) of the FOIA sets out the requirements of a valid request for
information and says that a request must, amongst other things, "state the
name of the applicant and an address for correspondence".

May I suggest that the request is made under a first and last name. We
will then deal with the request in the normal way, responding to you
within the statutory timescale of twenty working days.

Yours sincerely,

Jack Yates
