Possible double counting of mortality numbers.

Dear Office for National Statistics,

Please could you tell me whether those England and Wales citizens who have been deemed to have died linked to Coronavirus, currently amounting to some 130,000, are also recorded as having died due to another cause, possibly the principal cause, of death such as road traffic accident or heart attack.

Yours faithfully,

peter k. roberts.

Dear FOI Team,

Many thanks for your considered response to my FOI Request, the content of which is most interesting.

Is it possible for you to tell me for the same two periods how many citizens of England and Wales have sadly died from any form of influenza?

Many thanks.

Yours sincerely,

peter k. roberts.

Have asked an additional question relating to influenza deaths in England and Wales recorded in the same two periods.

Many thanks for all the information I requested.

It appears to me that all things considered, 150,000 mortalities within a population of 66 million, over a period of more than 2 years, due to LINKS TO one specific cause ie Coronavirus, amounting to less than one in 400 of the actual population, does not constitute a pandemic in most people's eyes.
