Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council Nid oedd gan y wybodaeth y gofynnwyd amdani.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act.

Have officers of the council removed children from foster parents in the last year on account of the parents' known or suspected support for the UKIP political party?

Does the council maintain any list of political parties with which foster parents may not permissibly associate, and if, which parties are on it?

What assessment has the council made of the costs to taxpayers of transferring children to new foster parents for reason of political unsuitability of their existing foster parents?

What assessment has the council made of impact on the welfare of the children concerned when transferring them to new foster parents for reason of political unsuitability of their existing foster parents?

What assessment has the council made of the legal risks under the libel and equalities legislation of any such practice?

Yours faithfully,

Martin Keegan

Dear Sir or Madam,

I notice that you have acknowledged several FOIA requests from members of the public about the fostering issue. Did you receive my request (which was submitted earlier than the ones you have already acknowldged, albeit on a Saturday)?

Yours faithfully,

Martin Keegan
