Thank you for your request for information that was received on 21 June
2019 concerning Dear Liverpool City Council,

1. If the Council's Planning Department are aware that hazardous
waste/substances are present on a site, do they have a statutory
responsibility to apply the relevant saved and emerging policies to their
planning reports?

2. Also if they know hazardous waste/substances are present, what addition
planning actions must be carried out. For example, requiring surveyors
reports etc?
