Policy and procedures for the lawful removal of vehicles
Dear LiveWest,
I would like to know what lawful authority does livewest have to remove. s o r. N vehicles from there private land ,the legal process it uses to do this , vehicles are NOT abandoned as livewest have been informed of this by the legal owner , carpark has no signs or barrier to suggest parking management is in force! The housing officer put notices on car state ing they abandoned ( vehicles taxed insured at this point but no mot ) told to remove or mot vehicles or livewest will authorise removel
And distraction of vehicles, I believe this is unlawful and abuse of powers to commit a criminal act , housing officer represented livewest is for sidmouth area
Yours faithfully,
Ian Tong

Dear LiveWest,
Thanks for reply, I am a livewest tenant but not propared to give my address publicly , I note in your neighbourhood management policy it quotes that there are procedures and further guidelines on parking management, please provide the exact procedures on this and exact lawful authority to remove vehicles that you have been told aren’t abandoned. If different procedures for non resident are in place I would like both, also registered information on how livewest obtain information on vehicles lawfully from dvla , and how they use this information that is only correct and valid for the one date and day requested.
Yours faithfully,
I Tong

Dear Data Protection LiveWest,
Thank you for you reply , so if you’re not classed as a public authority then please explain why your housing officer still claims to have lawful authority to remove vehicles from private land , protection of freedom act 2012 states That lawful authority to remove /clamp vehicles from private land are —-local councils, dvla, police but only under certain circumstances, I have contacted these and they all agreed that it’s legally parked ect ,so unlawful results in criminal offence!
Yours sincerely,
Mr I Tong
