Dear University of Portsmouth,
Can I please get a copy of your policies on sexual harassment and misconduct. With the campaign Reclaim the Campus, we are looking into the different policies that UK universities hold.
Thank you for your email. Whilst we and the majority of our colleagues are working remotely from the University we will endeavour to respond to emails / requests / queries as soon as we are able and within any regulatory deadlines we may have, but please bear with us. We will keep you updated at all times about the progress of your request and let you know if we believe there may be a delay in responding for operational reasons
I write further to your request for information, below, made on 25
November 2020 under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I believe that the information you require is contained within the
- The Dignity and Respect policy (which applies to all members of the
University community): http://policies.
- The Code of Student Behaviour (which refers to student misconduct):
- The Declaration of Interests policy (which provides guidance on
relationships between members of the community):
I trust that this is the information that you require, however, if you
have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me either by replying
to the email that sends this letter or by telephoning me directly on 02392

Please don’t take offence if I don’t reply to say ‘thank you’. If every UK
adult sent 1 less courtesy email a day, we’d save over 16,400 tonnes of
carbon a year – so, think before you thank.
