TANNER Eleanor 90526, Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner

Dear Mr Wells
Further to your request below, please could you refine question 4 of your request in order for the request to be considered within Section 12(1) of the Freedom of information Act – the cost of compliance would exceed the appropriate limit. To locate any instructions given to staff members to reduce data security breaches would require searching through numerous unstructured filing systems and email accounts for all time which would exceed the appropriate limit. Limiting the request to organisational instructions given to staff, or instructions given to staff by the organisation / Senior Information Risk Owner/ data protection officer for example, over a specified time period will enable me to discount all other personal email accounts and files and give me a time period over which to search, which should bring the request within the appropriate limit.

I look forward to receiving your amended request.

Yours sincerely

Eleanor Tanner

Dear Mr Wells

Further to your request below, please can you clarify if you require DPIAs since the DPA / GDPR 2018, or for our response to also include Privacy Impact Assessments undertaken prior to the DPA 2018/GDPR.

Many thanks
