Police vehicles
Dear Hertfordshire Constabulary,
I am conducting research into police vehicles and data recorders, if any.
My questions are:
Does Hertfordshire Constabulary have data recorders in their vehicles?
When did Hertfordshire Constabulary introduce data recorders to their vehicles?
For vehicles in your fleet before the introduction date, have these vehicles been fitted with data recorders retrospectively?
What are the aims for having data recorders in police vehicles?
What do the data recorders record?
Can these data recorders be used in court as evidence?
How are the data recorders downloaded?
By data recorder I mean a device that measures speed etc. My questions are being asked to every police force in the UK.
Yours faithfully,
James Cameron
