Could you please release any information you have relating to the attendance of the Police and Crime Commissioner at the swearing in ceremony for new constables held at police headquarters on 22 November 2012.

I suspect relevant information may be held in the form of:

- Any notification of the event or an invitation to attend it, intended for the Commissioner. This may have been sent to the Commissioner, Candidates, the Commissioner Elect, or via the Police Authority.

- Any correspondence between the Commissioner or those working on his behalf relating to his attendance at the event, ie. any reply to an invitation, or correspondence noting changes of plans.

- Any notes held, for example, by those officiating at the event, who may have given the Commissioner's apologies.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (The Act) requires us to handle all
requests in a manner that is blind to the identity of the requestor. Any
information released in response to a request is regarded as being
published, and therefore in the public domain without caveat.

We have completed all searches within Cambridgeshire Constabulary and
hereby enclose your response.

your request. We do not have a record of any apology made on behalf of the
Commissioner in respect of this ceremony, nor any notes made by those
officiating at the ceremony.
