I write in connection with your request for information which was received
by the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) on 10/09/2020.  I note you seek
access to the following information:

Specialist Protection and the Protection of the Prime Minister & Downing
Street of which isn't classified or falls under National Security.

Apologies, but this is to inform you that the MPS are still unable to
proceed with your request, as we require further information from you.

As you have stated you require all information, this would require
searches having to be conducted both electronically and manually. With
regards to the former, this could mean having to interrogate various MPS
systems and ultimately result in a cost refusal.

Therefore, I would be grateful if you could clarify the type of
information you seek, e.g. reports, CAD messages, emails etc.  In
addition, please advise whether you are only seeking information relating
to the protection of the Prime Minister and Downing Street as held by
Royalty and Specialist Protection.  If this is incorrect, please list the
information that you are requesting.

 

After receiving your reply, your request will then be considered and you
will receive a response within the statutory timescale of 20 working days.

 

However, if the requested additional information has not been received
by 05/11/2020, I will assume you no longer wish to proceed with this
request and will treat it as withdrawn.
