Dear Freedom of Information,
Lisburn and Castlereagh District Council

Please note the response yesterday 19 April 2018 was in relation to an entirely different request - to clarify postcodes on a noise nuisance request. This request is specifically relating to planning issues and planning enforcement.

Please clarify the response or delay?

Yours sincerely,

G M Hyland

Freedom of Information, Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council

Good afternoon, this response was emailed to you on Tuesday 10th April at 10:12 from Mr Gerard Deery - Planning Unit.

Dear Freedom of Information,

I am now confused. There is no reply from G Deery at the Council on this email thread or in my inbox.

A matter of hours ago you referred me to a reply of 19 April which was about a different request. Now you refer me to a reply of 10 April which does not appear on the Whatdotheyknow site thread nor do I have a record of receiving via any direct email - which would not be possible in any event as the Council do not have my direct email

Please clarify? Resend the reply already sent and consider this communication a complaint for the failure to supply the information within the statutory time limit.

If the Council have overlooked my request or the response it would be less disingenuous to state that and apologise

I await a response to my complaint.

Yours sincerely,

G M Hyland

Dear Freedom of Information,

Thank you for the information attached to your response but this was not sent to me via email on 10 April as it would appear on this thread on the Whatdotheyknow site?

Also your response refers to attaching the email - it is not attached just the word document

The word document does not answer the 4 questions posed in the request

Please clarify?

Yours sincerely,

G M Hyland

Mr Hyland
Your email of 24 April to the Freedom of Information Inbox has been forwarded to me for attention. I am writing to advise you as follows:-

•I replied to you at [FOI #472349 email] on 10 April at 10:12.
•I thought that the table supplied had provided the information you were seeking. To clarify, however:-
1.There were 3 planning complaints made to the Planning Unit in relation to the area and during the time period as identified by yourself.
2.These complaints related to alleged unauthorised development.
3.The complaints were opened as formal enforcement cases for investigation and assigned reference numbers.
4.The outcomes were either no breach of planning having been identified or no works actually having been carried out.

I hope this helps clarify the matter.
