Dear Planning Inspectorate, At the planning enquiry held on 9th March 1999 by Derek Thew into the site of 7 Connaught Road Ilford , T/APP/W5780/A/98/295953, did the Inspectorate designate The change of use of the building to B8 , office furniture storage with ancillary office space ?

PINS FOI Requests,

Dear Mr Barker

Thank you for your e-mail. I should explain that, with the passage of time since the issue of the referenced appeal decision in mind, the Planning Inspectorate does not hold information on this appeal either electronically or in hard copy form.

Our published procedures explain our appeal case records are normally destroyed one year after the issue date of the appeal decision. The reason for this policy is essentially the practical issues of storing the case files (together with all the accompanying documentation) and the high storage costs involved. The Council, as the local planning authority, are responsible for holding information relevant to the planning history of a particular site within their area.

Whilst I am unable to help directly on this occasion, I hope this response has at least been useful in providing clarification.
