This is a request for information made pursuant to the general right of access to information contained in the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and relates to 1 May 2015 - 22 May 2016. Please provide the following information:

(a) the full content of E-mails and minutes between the British Transport Police and the Scottish Ministers and/or the Secretary of State for Transport concerning the Scottish Ministers plan to bring the functions of the British Transport Police in Scotland under the remit of the Police Service of Scotland.

(b) the full content of E-mails and Minutes of meetings between the British Transport Police and the Police Federation and Scottish Police Federation concerning the Scottish Ministers plan to bring the functions of the British Transport Police in Scotland under the remit of the Police Service of Scotland.

(c) the full content of E-mails and Minutes of meetings between the BTP's executive (i.e. any officer of at least the rank of ACC, inclusive of those temporarily holding the rank) and the executive of the Police Service of Scotland (i.e. any officer of at least the rank of ACC, inclusive of those temporarily holding the rank) concerning the Scottish Ministers plan to bring the functions of the British Transport Police in Scotland under the remit of the Police Service of Scotland.

(d) the full content of E-mails and Minutes of meetings between the BTP and the BTP Authority concerning the Scottish Ministers plan to bring the functions of the British Transport Police in Scotland under the remit of the Police Service of Scotland.

Please provide the following information:

 

(a) the full content of E-mails and minutes between the British Transport

least the rank of ACC, inclusive of those temporarily holding the rank)
and the executive of the Police

It is not possible to progress your request at this time, as clarification
is needed from you to enable us to locate the information you have asked
for.

 

With regard to point (b), can you clarify whether the request is for
communications between British Transport Police senior management (eg. as
outlined in point (c)) and the BTP Federation/Scottish Police Federation
or for any emails between a British Transport Police officer/member of
staff and representatives of the Federation?

In line with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 Section 10(6), the 20
working day timescale will be suspended until the required clarification
has been received, restarting on the date when the information is
received.
