The request was successful.

North Down Borough Council,

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am contacting you concerning Dangerous Dogs law banning pit bull terrier type dogs.

1) How many dogs have been seized as illegally owned pit bull terrier type dogs in 2007, 2008 and 2009?

2)How many dogs have been seized the Dangerous Dogs Order (as illegal dogs) so far this year - 2010? Of those
dogs seized, how many have been signed over for destruction by their owners?

3) How many dogs are currently held in kennels having been seized as illegal pit bull terrier type dogs?

4) What number of dogs seized as illegal pit bull type dogs have been destroyed or have died whilst in kennels during 2007, 2008 and 2009? And what where the causes of death?

5) What is the cost to the council for the kennelling of pit bull type dogs during 2007, 2008 and 2009?

6) When was the dog named 'bruce' owned by Shannon Brown last seen by a veterinary surgeon and what was the outcome of any veterinary examination given?

7? What is the current physical condition of the dog named 'bruce' owned by Shannon Brown held by he council as a suspected pit bull terrier dog?
Thank you.

Yours faithfully,
