Thank you for the link but it doesn't work? I will try again later.
Note for admin: has this has been flagged by accident? it is not a request for personal information nor a vexatious request. I have received totally flawed (and partly made up nonsense) clinical advice from the PHSO 'special advisor' - I am interested to see if this is common place.

I think the correct link should have been:

I've updated the status back to "Waiting for a response".

Hi Gina,
Your case is very common. Just look at the data. PHSO investigate only a fraction of cases referred 1.7% and find in favour of even fewer. They don't work for US but for THEM.

SPOT ON annotation Della...have been chasing justice for almost 8 years and PHSO system is really not "fit for purpose" I gave verbal evidence to Health Select Committee for their Complaints and Litigation Inquiry and findings were http://www.parliament.uk/business/commit... be useful to read through prior to next complaints inquiries http://www.parliament.uk/business/commit... I have lobbied all on Public Admin Select Committee (annual scrutiny meeting with PHSO is usually a joke!) and nobody has asked PHSO why is not accepting recommendation of HSC of "role Overhaul".....instead a Complaints Review was commissioned but although I was invited to attend restrictions were placed on what i could discuss! POINTLESS! http://www.lexology.com/library/detail.a...

Bernard Jenkin MP, Chairman of the Public Administration Select Committee (PASC), said:
“The British are famously bad at complaining, but businesses have learned to use complaints as a vital source of information and improvement. The same should apply to public services. The Mid Staffs tragedy shows what happens when complaints are not heard.
We aim for these inquiries to enable a better leadership and governance of complaints processes; of how government and public services should respond to complaints; and how to make better use of them.”
I disagree! I believe the British complain but who listens?

FYI if you don't know already.

After the Mid Staffs hospital report the Parliamentary Administration Select Committee at the House of Commons is launching two new enquiries…..
First focus will be the NHS, but as part of the cross-department inquiry looking into peoples experiences with front lines services,
First inquiry is ‘Complaints, do they make a difference'!
For those who have tried the Health Ombudsman and found her wanting,
• Objectives for inquiries on complaints
