Please could you provide the following information in relation to
Photocopiers, Multi-Functional Devices and Desktop Printers:
1. Current contract details, including contract end date
The Trust has in the region of 50 contracts for MFD devices, end dates
vary as contracts commenced at various times during the last 4 years
2. Companies awarded
Xerox
3. Length of contract/s
60 months
4. Annual spend
This information is exempt in accordance with the Freedom of Information
exemption at section 43, ‘commercial interests’. Where commercial
considerations (section 43) are included, it is the Trust’s view that if
this information were to be disclosed, the information would be likely to
prejudice the Trust or a third party, in its commercial dealings. This
would not be of benefit to the public who expect the Trust to operate
competitively when spending public money in a highly competitive market
and to negotiate effectively with its main contractors.
5. Details on how these were procured - Framework (if so which one)/OJEU
(provide OJEU Notice number)/local quote if under EU threshold.
The Trust uses the Government Procurement Service Framework RM1599 but
each device tends to have its own contract.
