PhD level occupations clarification under SOC code 2119
Dear Home Office,
As per the code of practice for skilled worker (Immigration rules appendix J), occupations skilled to PhD level are exempt from the minimum earning salary threshold of £35,000 pounds for settlement.
SOC code 2119 is skilled to PhD level as per Appendix J. Please could you clarify or confirm if all job roles which fall under the SOC code 2119 are exempt from the minimum earning threshold of 35000 pounds?
Or you consider only few job titles under SOC 2119 to be PhD level job roles. If so please specify which job titles you consider to be PhD level under SOC code 2119
The guidelines are not clear on the website.
Yours faithfully,
Mr. Vikram Waghamare
