Performing searches across email and documents
Dear Department for Communities and Local Government,
I note with interest that recently DCLG have cited section 12(1) of the FoI act in response to requests for information. You have suggested that the cost to search for electronic information would be beyond £600.
Can you please inform me of the following?
1) The software used to run internal email (both client and server side?
2) PC and server operating system and version
3) What, if any, electronic document management systems is in use?
4) How frequently are electronic backs-up archived for?
5) Copy of policy on document disposal and retention?
Yours faithfully,
Mr Jones
