Dear North Wales Fire and Rescue Service,

Please can you tell me if you have complied with the above court
ruling relating to additional payments paid to Firefighters e.g.
Day Crewing, Training Allowances etc now being classed as
pensionable pay?

1. If yes, when did you comply with this ruling?

2. If no, why haven't you complied with this ruling?

I have tried to seek information relating to this request from the Welsh Government and they have informed me that they have not been asked by any Fire and Rescue Service for guidance in relation to this matter and do not intend to release any. In light of this information please could you review your initial response.

Dear Sir,

 

Further to your email of 4^th March 2016 in which you asked for a review
of the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWFRS) response to your
Freedom of Information Act  request regarding the ‘Pensionable Pay (Norman
v Cheshire)’ ruling, NWFRS has reviewed its response and must advise you
that it is not currently in a position to implement the ruling as the
Service is awaiting clarification of allowances that are pensionable.
