I refer to your correspondence dated 10 June 2019 when you requested
information for West Suffolk Council.
RESPONSE:
- Total number of pay & display spaces (split between on & off street)
On street pay and display spaces 330
Off Street pay and display spaces 3574
- Total number of pay & display car parks
Total number of pay and display car parks is 22.
- Number of Council-operated barrier car parks
We do not have any barrier operated car parks in West Suffolk.
- Annual number of transactions in barrier car parks
We do not have any barrier operated car parks in West Suffolk.
- Annual number of pay & display parking transactions (split between on &
off street)
Off street pay and display parking transactions- cash and debit/credit
card is 2,765,206
On Street pay and display cash transactions only, no card or cashless-
56,356.
- Annual pay & display parking revenue (split between on & off street)
Off Street pay and display revenue £4,927,221.
On Street pay and display revenue £288,601.
- Annual number of cashless parking transactions (split between on & off
street)
Off street cashless parking transactions 275,481
On Street cashless Parking transactions 83,731
- Annual pay & display parking revenue (split between on & off street)
Off street pay and display cashless revenue £844,784
On street pay and display cashless revenue £60,507.
- Cashless parking contract end date
Our current contract with RingGO is a rolling month to month contract.
- Charge to the Council per transaction by current cashless parking
provider
Charge to the council per transaction is no charge, as the customers are
charged 20p extra per transaction.
If you are unhappy with this response you may request an internal review
of this matter via the Council’s corporate complaints procedure.
If, after an internal review, you are still unhappy with the decision, you
