Dear Ms Hayhurst,

Request for information: Payments under Section 106 agreements

We have now collated the information to respond to your request and this
is attached.

Please find attached a spreadsheet providing the information you
requested.  Please note this is the most up to date information available
from our developer contributions database, however this will only be fully
reconciled at year end; there may be allocations and spend which have not
yet been reflected.

Although not specifically requested, Column A shows the Planning
Application Number, and Column B the Service unit requesting the
contribution.  The amount paid is shown in column D with the date of the
payment in column E.  The contribution will either show in column G as
awaiting allocation, column H as committed, and/or column I as spent.

The information is presented as a spreadsheet to enable further analysis
should you wish to do this.  It is currently sorted by date of payment in
order for you to be able to total the payments as you requested.

I can confirm that no S106 contributions have been refunded, except in
one instance where the highways works required were carried out by the
developer rather than the Council, and in some instances where the
planning permission has expired without the development concerned taking
place, and it is therefore entirely appropriate that contributions are
refunded. A separate sheet showing repayments is attached.

If you are unhappy with the way your request has been handled, you may ask
for an internal review. You should contact David Lowe, Scrutiny &
Partnerships Manager, Strategic Support, Council Offices, Market Street,
Newbury RG14 5LD, email [1][email address].uk  if you wish to request
a review. If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review,
you have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a
decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information
Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9
5AF

If you have any queries about this letter, please contact me.

Yours sincerely,
