Dear Mrs Nurse,

Thank you for your information request of 20 August 2020 and please
accept our sincere apologies for delay in providing the response to you.
Aberdeen City Council (ACC) has completed the necessary search for the
information requested. Our response is now detailed below.

Please can you advise if during 23/3/20 to date being (19/8/20) payments
have continued to be made to independent schools/facilities within the
Aberdeen area for placements even though the child/adult couldn’t attend
the school due to Covid 19.

Clarification received: Good morning I wish to request info on payments to
private organisations such as Young Adult Program at Camphill School
during Covid from 23/3 to date  are they still getting paid even though NO
services are being supplied to the Young Adults?

Ie Monday- Friday 9.am - 4.30pm?

We paid contracted training and skills development services irrespective
of their status, if they provided alternative or reduced service during
lockdown.

Young Adult Project continued to get paid in full minus the amount for the
number of staff they had on furlough. This was for commissioned places.
Staff that were not on furlough were used in other elements of their
service whilst not providing day services to day students.

We also noticed that you asked for a review based on lateness. We
recommend you to withdraw your current request for review as you would
only get one chance for a review request (either based on lateness or
content). This would also give you an opportunity to request a review if
you are not satisfied with the content of our above response.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE HANDLING OF YOUR REQUEST

We handled your request for information in accordance with the provisions
of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002. Please refer to
[1]FOISA reviews & appeals and [2]Your Data for more information about
your rights under FOISA.

We hope this helps with your request.

Yours sincerely,
