Well I had conscious sedation for this procedure two years ago.the procedure went well.but the aftercare was abysmal on return to the ward.I had to crawl off the trolley myself.and was nursed in a chair.the consultant came along and reassured me that everything was normal. On receiving my discharge paperwork .I was quite upset that they had found a very nasty long tern skin condition but the consultant had not mentioned this.I went to the nursing station to find out about this condition was told thatvthe consultant was in theatre and the nurses were to busy to speak with me.I returned to my chair and started to research the condition on my mobile phone.on no occasion was my blood pressure taken on return to the ward.
