Please note that Registered Housing providers are not subject to the
Freedom of Information Act 2000. We, therefore, do not have a statutory
obligation to respond to requests for information. However, we do work
closely with public authorities which are subject to the Act, and
information about some of these activities might well fall within the
scope of the Act, along with some environmental information.  In addition,
we are committed to being accountable and transparent to our residents,
local communities and other stakeholders, and would generally look to make
available information about our work and services.

 

Whilst we believe that responding to requests for additional information
plays an essential part in ensuring A2Dominion remains an open and
accountable organisation, we do not want to divert our staff from their
day to day work in providing services to our tenants.  We, therefore,
assess on a case by case basis whether or not it would be reasonable to
provide the information requested, even though we are not legally obliged
to do so;

Hi Sonam,

 

As we do not know who the request is from and why they need the
information, I think it is best not to send them the info at this time.
This looks like they are looking for business so it would not be in our
interest to detail how much we pay for things or how many we deal with. If
they would like to discuss commissioning etc, they are more than welcome
to call us and we will speak to them once we know where they are from.

Hi Rosanna,

 

Thank you for passing this request to us.

 

As a housing association we are not subject to Freedom of Information,
however, in the spirit of transparency we do send info requested where it
is easily collated.  Where it is difficult to collate or we do not wish to
send for whatever reason we can refuse the request.

 

If you are happy for this information to be sent please can you collate it
and advise once ready.  We will then provide you with a cover letter for
the requestor.   If you do not wish to send please advise.
