Dear Ms Stevenson

Further to your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act our response is as follows:

1. The University has residences on site and as such does not close. Within the site some buildings will close outside of work hours.
2. The University has a shared library with the County Council. The library is open 7 days a week 08:00 - 22:00
3. Our reception is manned 08:00 - 21:00
4. Whilst we hold the data you have requested we are withholding it since we consider that the exemption under Section 43 relating to Commercial Interests applies. We believe the releasing the information requested has the potential to expose the University. Section 43 is a qualified exemption and subject to public interest, section 2. On reviewing your request we are satisfied that the public interest in withholding the information outweighs the public interest in disclosing it.
5. As 4 above
6. This depends on the student, what they are studying, whether they live on campus etc. In addition we believe that this information has the potential to expose the University and are therefore withholding it under Section 43 as detailed at 4 above.

I am obliged, under the Freedom of Information Act, to inform you of our complaints procedures in case you are unhappy about the way in which your request has been dealt with.
