One disgraced social worker

The request was partially successful.

Dear Nottingham City Council,

I would like the answers to these questions

1. If a social worker is sacked and then struck off by the GSCC for gross professional misconduct , does that mean that any subsequent reports based on his/hers words/allegations hereafter be stricken out ?

2. Is it possible for the same social worker to authorise a "stop" on all housing repairs - never to be reinstated ?

3. On the question of incompetence , are their words then get rendered inadmissible ?

I enclose this report for your attention http://www.gscc.org.uk/cmsFiles/Conduct%... EXTRACT from this report extract

" At a home visit with Family M in the company of your colleague,
you minimised the seriousness of the mother’s concerns about
electrical sockets hanging off the walls of her home, by
informing her that this was not dangerous".

Previous Social Workers

Jas Purewal ( Struck off)
Steve Parker ( Agency , No longer works for local authority)
Maxine Rose ( Transferred )
Idayah Rose ( Agency Social Worker )
Kathryn McGovern ( Present)

Yours faithfully,

Melizza Moore

Dear Nottingham City Council

By law this FOI is now overdue , get a wriggle on . Chop chop please. :)

Oh by the way , the GSCC says that as the local authority is concerned with this particular case , I should ask here. The second social worker was "on long term sick leave" , Rumour has it that she was also suspended in this time period . But later on "transferred" elsewhere out of the County. It appears that "somebody" been telling porkie pies !

Yours faithfully,

Melizza Moore

Melizza requested information about Nottinghamshire's Council's policy. The Council's reply indicates that it doesn't have a set policy!

.

So NCC takes two months to state that it doesn't have a policy. It's pretty poor whichever way you look at it isn't it.

yup it is a poor show , but whoah I cost them £96 to answer that , and social care complaints procedure . QUITE !
