Nus Ghani Letter to Mark Thurston

Roedd y cais yn llwyddiannus.

Dear High Speed Two (HS2) Limited,

Please provide:

1. A copy of the letter from Transport Minister Nus Ghani to Mark Thurston from June 2018 asking if he had “full confidence in the robustness of the numbers” provided by HS2 for its spending on land and property.
2. The response from Mark Thurston/HS2 to Nus Ghani to that letter

Mr Thurston has repeatedly asserted publicly that there are no budget problems and that HS2 is due to be completed within its target envelope. Given the public nature of these statements and the stories in the national press depicting a different view, it seems clear that there is an overwhelming public interest to ensure that the statements being made publicly and the advice being given to ministers are not at odds with each other.

Yours faithfully,

Graeme Amis
