Dear Mr Jones

Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FoIA) – request for information

Thank you for your request for information, dated 6 November 2018, which I
have dealt with under the terms of the FoIA.

You have requested the following information:

“1 - How many lawyers were working on a temporary (agency) basis at the
organisation on Monday 3rd September 2018?

2 – What was the total spend by your organisation on temporary (agency)
legal professionals during the financial year 1/4/16 to 31/3/17.”

I have interpreted ‘lawyers...working on a temporary (agency) basis’ to
refer to lawyers working for The Pensions Regulator via an employment
agency.

Following a conversation with our Human Resource and Procurement
departments, I can confirm we do not employ any lawyers on an agency
basis. As such, we do not hold any information you have requested in the
points above.
